The Trenton Tigers had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.7 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They breezed by Bell at home to the tune of 61-15. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Trenton has managed all season.
Trenton got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Octavian Ford out in front who scored 12 points along with four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Ford has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaydon Waugh, who scored 11 points along with two steals.
Trenton's win bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Bell, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-18.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Trenton won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Bradford at 6:30 p.m. on January 20th. Bradford is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home. Bell's road trip will continue as they head out to face Saint Francis Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on January 23rd.
