In what's become a running theme this season, the Glenpool Warriors gave their fans yet another huge victory on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 79-42 victory over Wilson-Henryetta at home. Glenpool's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Glenpool was led to victory by Aaliyah Shawnee and Yaya Gibson. Shawnee scored 17 points along with eight rebounds and three steals, while Gibson scored 18 points along with five steals. Gibson is trending in the right direction, as she's improved her point production for three games straight. Autumn Spears was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with four steals.
Glenpool's victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-2. As for Wilson-Henryetta, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-5.
Glenpool will be playing at home against the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lincoln Christian is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last ten games. As for Wilson-Henryetta, they will head out on the road to challenge the Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mason will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings (they are ranked 457th, while the Tigers are ranked 180th).
