West Central has played every game this season on their home court, but they'll have to hit the road on Tuesday. They will face off against the Marquette Catholic Blazers at 7:30 p.m. Hopefully West Central focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Friday.
Last Friday, West Central ended up a good deal behind Argos and lost 62-46.
West Central's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Bryce Nannenga, who scored 15 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 blocks, and Conner Schleman who scored 11 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 blocks. Nannenga scored a full 32.6% of West Central's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Meanwhile, Marquette Catholic was able to grind out a solid victory over Bethany Christian on Tuesday, taking the game 51-41.
Among those leading the charge was JJ Welch, who scored 20 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Aleks Pecoski, who scored 11 points along with 6 rebounds.
The losses dropped West Central to 0-2 and Argos to 1-1.
