The Sharpsville Blue Devils's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They lost to Sharon at home by a decisive 64-49 margin. Sharpsville lost against Sharon in their previous head to head back in December of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 66-57 score last time.
Despite the loss, Sharpsville still got an impressive performance from Luke Staunch, who scored 20 points. Another player making a difference was Aiden Cadman, who scored 11 points.
Sharpsville's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Sharon, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.
Sharpsville will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Greenville at 7:30 p.m. Sharon will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Fairview at 7:30 p.m. on December 19th.
