Basketball Recap: Siuslaw Piles Up the Points Against Toledo

Siuslaw came tearing into Friday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Toledo Boomers 72-29. The Vikings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 27 points or more this season.

Siuslaw's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Toledo, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season.

Siuslaw will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on North Bend at 7:00 p.m. on December 30th. Toledo will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Powers at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
