Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Johnstown-Monroe). They were the clear victors by a 16-10 margin over the Utica Redskins on Monday. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in March. She was even better at the plate, going 2-for-5 with four runs, three RBI, and one double.
In other batting news, Addy Zak was incredible, going 2-for-5 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Reese Lyons, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
Johnstown-Monroe kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They are 3-1 when they post 11 or more hits.
