The Muskogee Roughers will head out on the road to take on the Glenpool Warriors at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Muskogee's hitters haven't had much luck over their past three matchups, but Monday's contest will give them a chance to turn things around.
Muskogee was handed an eight-run defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Friday. They had just enough and edged out McAlester 2-0.

Not much got past Avery Browning, who gave up just four hits to keep McAlester off the board. Browning also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Muskogee is 6-3 when he allows at most one earned run, but 4-21 otherwise.
At the plate, Muskogee's victory was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Doc Estes, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Glenpool earned an 8-4 win over Pawnee on Friday.
Peyton Surrett made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over six innings pitched. Surrett was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Mason Romero was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2025. Logan Reed also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.
Glenpool hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least four batters in three consecutive games.
Muskogee's record now sits at 10-24. As for Glenpool, their record is now 4-22.
