Dakota Becker and Abigail Thomas certainly did their best on Tuesday to try and avoid the loss. Becker scored 21 points along with six rebounds, while Thomas scored eight points along with 13 rebounds and five assists. The matchup was Becker's third in a row with at least ten points.
Prestonwood Christian North's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Nazarene Christian Academy, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season.
Prestonwood Christian North will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on First Baptist at 5:00 p.m. on December 29th. Nazarene Christian Academy will be home for the holidays to greet Mercy Culture Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Mercy Culture Prep's defense has only allowed 26.2 points per game this season, so Nazarene Christian Academy's offense will have their work cut out for Nazarene Christian Academy.
