The Milwaukee Lutheran Red Knights lost against the Greendale Panthers back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Milwaukee Lutheran fell 55-48 to Greendale. Milwaukee Lutheran has not had much luck with Greendale recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Greendale's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tatiyana Edwards, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Giselle Paszkiewcz, who scored 12 points along with seven assists and two steals.
Milwaukee Lutheran has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season. As for Greendale, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
Milwaukee Lutheran's road trip will continue as they head out to face Menomonee Falls at 7:00 p.m. on January 15th. Menomonee Falls presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Milwaukee Lutheran in Wisconsin (Menomonee Falls is ranked 93rd, while Milwaukee Lutheran is ranked 289th). As for Greendale, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Muskego at 7:00 p.m.
