Anthony Amaya put in work no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off seven hits. Nova is 2-1 when Amaya allows one or fewer earned runs, but 2-7 otherwise. Amaya was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-5 with two RBI and one double.
