The Waggener Wildcats lost against the Seneca Red Hawks back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Waggener took a 44-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of Seneca. Waggener has not had much luck with Seneca recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Seneca found their leader in underclassman Janelle Julue, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. Julue continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.
Waggener now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Seneca, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Sacred Heart the next time they take the court. Waggener will head out to face Sacred Heart at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Seneca will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
