Francis Parker scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They blew past Tri-City Christian 92-49 at home. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 52-24.
Francis Parker can attribute much of their success to Tavid Johnson, who dropped a triple-double on 19 points, ten rebounds, and ten assists, and Amon Andrews, who scored 28 points. Johnson is absolutely dominating the point category: he's posted at least 15 every time he's taken the court this season. Kai Jones was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with seven assists and three steals.
Maranatha Christian suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Friday. They took a serious blow against Santa Fe Christian, falling 60-29. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Maranatha Christian has scored all season.
The win got Francis Parker back to even at 9-9. As for Maranatha Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-11.
