Commerce's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ty Sorrells, who picked up 179 receiving yards and three TDs. The Tigers also got help from Essian Locklear, who showed off his sure hands for 100 receiving yards.

Chapman threw for 292 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 14.6 yards per attempt while Standifer picked up 144 receiving yards and a pair of scores. Standifer really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 73 yards.
