Floyd fell to Roy/Mosquero 20-37 the last time the two teams met; this time around, they exacted some revenge. Floyd were gifted an easy win on Friday as Roy/Mosquero wound up forfeiting 0-2. The tight race was right in line with the MaxPreps state rankings' forecast.
The victory bumped Floyd's record up to 2-3. Roy/Mosquero are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-5.
Next week Floyd take on Springer/Maxwell at 7:00 PM. Unlike Floyd, Springer/Maxwell will be limping in after taking a loss. Roy/Mosquero will have some time to rest before their next contest, which is against Springer/Maxwell in two weeks at 7:00 PM.
