The biggest upset of the week belonged to Oak Park, who defeated 93rd ranked Nordhoff, 23-3. Chandler Whitbord ran for 98 yards during the win.
The Eagles extended the longest winning streak in Tri-Valley this week by beating the Rangers, 23-3. This was the team's seventh consecutive win.
Gabe Molina put up the best numbers through the air as Bishop Diego bested Santa Paula. He finished with 5 completions for 102 yards and 1 touchdown. Molina's favorite target this week was Nolan Tooley, who caught 3 passes for 62 yards.
Oak Park's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Eagles feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Whitbord has thrown for 1,682 yards and 26 touchdowns this season, while Matt Byer has 47 catches for 1,081 yards.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Bishop Diego takes on second place Oak Park. Last week, the Cardinals defeated the Cardinals, while Terry Shorten's team beat Nordhoff.
The Eagles' offense has recorded 325 points this season, making them No. 1 in the league, while Bishop Diego has permitted only 25 on the year.
One of the league's premier quarterbacks will go head-to-head with its top pass rusher when Oak Park and Tom Crawford's team face off next week.
