The Middle Tennessee Christian Cougars and the East Nashville Magnet Eagles will face off  at 10:00  a.m.  on December 28th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully Middle Tennessee Christian focused on turnovers this week  since the team gave up 15 on Friday.
 Last Friday, Middle Tennessee Christian was beaten by Webb 63-34. While losing is never fun, Middle Tennessee Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings  (they are ranked 135th, while Webb is ranked 30th).
 Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from  Ashley Rucker, who  scored nine points. She scored a full 26.5% of Middle Tennessee Christian's points, the fourth time in a row she's  earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Anna clay Shirley, who  scored 13 points along with five  rebounds.
 Meanwhile, East Nashville Magnet put another one in the bag  on December 9th to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against Vashon by a score of  44-33.
 Middle Tennessee Christian has  not been sharp recently, as they've  lost three of their last four matches,  which put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season. As for East Nashville Magnet, their victory bumped their record up to 7-0.
