For the second straight game, Portland Christian will face off against Clatskanie. The Royals will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Tigers at 3:00 p.m. Portland Christian is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.7 runs per game this season.

Portland Christian is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Clatskanie just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 12-6 to the Tigers.

Pasquale Walker was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3. Another player making a difference was Michael Thurber, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one stolen base.

Clatskanie has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Portland Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.
