The Roger Bacon Spartans's three-game losing streak came to an end on Saturday. They blew past North College Hill 45-10 at home. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 32-2.
Roger Bacon got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Leah Fulton out in front who scored 10 points along with 6 rebounds and 4 steals. Fulton continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Gabby Ernst was another key contributor, scoring 10 points.
Roger Bacon's win bumped their record up to 1-3. As for North College Hill, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Roger Bacon will head out on the road to face off against Cincinnati Country Day at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Cincinnati Country Day presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Roger Bacon in Ohio (Cincinnati Country Day is ranked 25th, while Roger Bacon is ranked 342nd). As for North College Hill, they will be playing at home against Seven Hills at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
