Softball Recap: Saturday's Win Is Woodhaven's 13th in Last 14 Outings

Woodhaven got themselves on the board against Roosevelt on Saturday, but Roosevelt never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Bears. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 20 matches by six runs or more this season.

Natilee Pridemore made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over six innings pitched. Pridemore was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Brooklynn Bartos, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April. Ariel Krueger was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.

Woodhaven has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games. As for Roosevelt, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 21-11.
