St. Johns's game on Tuesday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Eastern Quakers by a score of 3-2. The result was nothing new for St. Johns as the team haven't won a game since September 4th.

St. Johns' loss dropped their record down to 3-8-1. As for Eastern, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2-3 record this season.

St. Johns will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Sexton at 5:30 p.m. on October 6. As for Eastern, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Waverly at 6:30 p.m.
