The JAG Jaguars waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins but they left with three. They secured a 62-56 W over Percy Julian. Given JAG's advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 21st, while the Phoenix are ranked 113th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
JAG got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ethan Friendly out in front who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of JaMicah Adair, who scored 19 points.
JAG pushed their record up to 22-4 with that victory, which was their 11th straight at home. As for Percy Julian, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-14 record this season.
JAG does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Percy Julian will be playing in front of their home fans against the Lions at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Prattville has now lost 14 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 7.
