The Orange Lions's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight loss. They received a tough blow as they fell 54-40 to Chagrin Falls. Orange has not had much luck with Chagrin Falls recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
Lilly Stukus was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 15 rebounds for Chagrin Falls. Stukus set a new season high mark in assists with five. The team also got some help courtesy of Avery Russell, who scored 13 points.
Orange now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Chagrin Falls, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 3-4 record this season.
Orange will be home for the holidays to greet Richmond Heights at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Richmond Heights' defense has only allowed 30 points per game this season, so Orange's offense will have their work cut out for Orange. As for Chagrin Falls, they will head out on the road to face off against Kenston at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Kenston is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
