Gerald Turner, GC came into the game allowing 10.1 points per game. The Warriors came in surrendering 15.3 points per game this season. Wando struggled against the Gators' offense, which entered the game scoring 50.1 points per game.
When the two teams played each other last season, Goose Creek came away with a 72-28 victory.
The loss comes after Wando defeated Stratford 42-7 last week.
In a AAAA Region VII game next week Wando (8-1) takes on Cane Bay, and Goose Creek (9-0) will go up against West Ashley also in a AAAA Region VII game.
