The Follett Panthers can now show off 13 landslide victories after their most recent match on Friday. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 53-23 victory over McLean. Winning may never get old, but Follett sure is getting used to it with their tenth in a row.
Maddox Miller continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 19 points along with five rebounds and two steals. He hasn't dropped below 19 points for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of David Meeks, who scored six points along with six rebounds.
When it comes to explaining why McLean lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jayvon Salazar. Despite the final result, he scored seven points along with 11 rebounds and four steals. Salazar has been hot recently, having posted ten or more rebounds the last 11 times he's played.
Follett pushed their record up to 18-7 with that win, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.3 points per game. As for McLean, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-16.
