After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Nazareth Academy, Joliet Catholic was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 16-7 victory over the Niles Notre Dame Dons. The win continues a trend for the Hilltoppers in their matchups with the Dons: they've now won four in a row.

The victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-4. As for Niles Notre Dame, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Joliet Catholic will welcome Chicago Mt. Carmel at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Niles Notre Dame, they will be playing at home against Brother Rice at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Crusaders' defense has only allowed 12.7 points per game this season, so the Dons' offense will have their work cut out for them.
