Connecticut Gatorade Player of the Year Matt Harvey heads the list of participants for the Connecticut High School Coaches Association senior baseball all-star series which will take place Tuesday and Wednesday (June 12-13) at Plainville High School.
The state's first-even Super Juniors game also will be played June 13 at Plainville.
Harvey, drafted in the third round by the Angels and also signed with the University of North Carolina, will be on the District IV team, which will play District II at 5 p.m. Districts I and III will meet at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday with the winners to play at 5 p.m. June 13. The Super Juniors game will follow at 7:30 p.m.
Harvey's team will be coached by Bill Buscetto of Stonington, assisted by Ken Valliere of Windham.

A committee of coaches and scouts will select the top 18 players from the all-star series to play a game against a similar team from Massachusetts later in June.
The Super Juniors have been divided into East and West team for one game.
