Jefferson came out on top against Chaska on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run fourth inning. The Jaguars put the hurt on the Hawks with a sharp 12-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Jaguars, who have now won six matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

The win was the third in a row for Jefferson, bringing their record up to 7-1. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Chaska, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jefferson will face off against New Prague at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Chaska, they will square off against Waconia at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
