After losing to the Out-of-Door Academy Thunder the last time they met, the Lakeland Christian Vikings decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Lakeland Christian walked away with a 48-40 victory over Out-of-Door Academy on Friday.
It was another big night for Nate Carpenter, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last three games he's played.
Lakeland Christian is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for Out-of-Door Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-12.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lakeland Christian will take on McKeel Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Out-of-Door Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against The Classical Academy of Sarasota at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Classical Academy of Sarasota is no doubt hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses.
