Hudson's rock-solid pitchers showed up for the team's third consecutive shutout on Tuesday. They didn't even let the Rusk Eagles on the board, marking the Hornets' second-straight 3-0 shutout. The victory continues a trend for the Hornets in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won five in a row.

Hudson's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Aidan Bonacci, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with one RBI. Another was Levi Slatter, who went 2-for-4 with one RBI.

Hudson now has a winning record of 10-9-1. As for Rusk, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-9.

Hudson will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Eagles: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
