While Ennis's victory against Kaufman wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Ennis had just enough and edged out Kaufman 4-2. Ennis hasn't had any issues with Kaufman recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Colt Schilling looked comfortable as he tossed four innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits.

Ennis hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least five batters in three consecutive games.

Ennis' record now sits at 14-1-1. As for Kaufman, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9-1 record this season.

Ennis will have a chance to go back-to-back against Kaufman: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
