Ponte Vedra's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performance. Perhaps the best among them was Ryan Smith, who picked up 116 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Another player making a difference was Benjamin Burk, who threw for 232 yards and two touchdowns.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Creekside to victory, but perhaps none more so than Danny Approbato, who rushed for 123 yards and a touchdown. Kaleb Taylor-burch also helped out with an impressive 90 receiving yards.
Ponte Vedra's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Creekside, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season.
Ponte Vedra will be playing at home against Creekside at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Creekside will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for they, they will head out on the road to face off against Ponte Vedra at 7:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Florida (Ponte Vedra is ranked 46th, while Creekside is ranked 68th).
