The De Kalb Bears will head out on the road to take on the New Boston Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. De Kalb is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
Last Tuesday, De Kalb lost to Redwater on the road by a decisive 62-43 margin.
Meanwhile, New Boston pushed their score all the way to 64 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 75-64 hit to the loss column at the hands of Redwater. New Boston has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
De Kalb now has a losing record at 10-11. As for New Boston, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-15 record this season.
De Kalb didn't have too much breathing room in their game against New Boston when the teams last played back in January, but they still walked away with a 45-40 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for De Kalb since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
