Male will be defending their home turf for the first time on Thursday when they go up against Oldham County at 6:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
Male had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They took their contest against Ballard last Thursday 21-8.
Meanwhile, Oldham County had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They were completely outmatched, falling 0-42 to Trinity.
Male's win lifted them to 1-0 while Oldham County's loss dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if Male can add another positive mark to their record or if Oldham County can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Male's step.
