The Academy Park Knights will head out on the road to face off against the Kennett Blue Demons at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Academy Park is hoping to put an end to an eight-game streak of away losses.
Academy Park pushed their score all the way to 75 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 83-75 hit to the loss column at the hands of Boyertown. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game on Tuesday (58), Academy Park still had to take the loss.
Kennett suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Saturday. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 63-42 walloping at the hands of Avon Grove. While losing is never fun, Kennett can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 512th, while Avon Grove is ranked 207th).
Academy Park has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season. As for Kennett, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10.
