The biggest upset of the week belonged to Westran, who took down 136th ranked Westran, 16-13.
The Hornets' Zane Jacoby recorded the longest rushing play in Lewis & Clark this season in his game against Marceline last week. Jacoby ran for 72 yards on the play and finished with 119 on the day as his team fell to the Tigers.
Jason Esau was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 145 yards on 23 carries as Fayette fell to Paris. Teammate Landon Ball added to the ground attack by rushing for two yards.
Steven Hayhurst put up the best numbers through the air as the Coyotes defeated the Falcons. He had a total of three completions for 93 yards. Hayhurst's favorite target this week was Slater Stone, who caught two passes for 63 yards.
Miller was the best wideout in the league this week as Fayette fell to Paris. Miller tallied seven receptions for 80 yards.
Westran's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Hornets feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Jacoby has thrown for 641 yards and 13 touchdowns this season, while Devin Perkins has 10 catches for 262 yards. Jacoby also leads the league in rushing with 985 yards.
Curtis Jasper's team's Jacoby needs only 15 yards against Salisbury next week to surpass 1,000 rushing yards for the season.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when the Hornets take on the Panthers. Westran has allowed 30 points this season, while Salisbury has given up 13. The Hornets allowed 16 points last week as they lost to Marceline.
Paul Thomas's team moved up to 200 from 230 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. A 16-13 win over Westran helped the Tigers improve their standing.
