The Kosciusko Whippets will be playing in front of their home fans against the Greenwood Bulldogs at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one:  both teams posted some lofty  run totals in their previous games.
 Kosciusko put the finishing touches on their seventh blowout victory of the season  on Saturday. They put the hurt on DeSoto Central with a sharp  13-7 win. The  victory was just what Kosciusko needed coming off of  a  10-0 loss in their prior  matchup.
  Anna grace Whitehead was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out six batters over  seven innings while giving up  three earned  (and four unearned) runs off   seven  hits. Whitehead was also big at the plate,  going 3-for-4 with a  home run and three  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Graycee Rosamond was a standout: she scored a  run while going 2-for-4.  Makynlee Dickerson was another key contributor,  going 1-for-4 with a  triple, two  RBI,  and a  run.
 Meanwhile, Greenwood fell victim to a  tough 30-16 defeat at the hands of Rosa Fort  on Wednesday.
 Kosciusko's win was  their fourth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 11-5. Those good results were due in large part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 12.3 runs per game. As for Greenwood, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.
