After losing to the Jumpertown Cardinals the last time they met, the Ashland Blue Devils decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Everything went Ashland's way against Jumpertown on Friday as Ashland made off with a 50-25 victory. The win made it back-to-back wins for Ashland.
Leading Ashland to victory were Morgan Crutcher and Paris Steward. Crutcher scored 13 points, while Steward scored 11 points.
Ashland has yet to lose a match at home this season, leaving them with a 2-3 record. As for Jumpertown, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
Ashland will head out on the road to face off against Myrtle at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jumpertown, they will be playing at home against Pine Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pine Grove has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
