Basketball Recap: Coldwater's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Coldwater entered their tilt with St. Henry on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 53-42 win over the St. Henry Redskins. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cavaliers also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.

St. Henry lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Austin Zimmerman, who posted seven points and 12 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Charlie Werling, who put up ten points.

Coldwater's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for St. Henry, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-6.

Coldwater and Wayne Trace will face off at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. As for St. Henry, they will face off against Fort Recovery at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Henry is facing Fort Recovery at the right time seeing as Fort Recovery is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
