The Sonora Wildcats were the 75-65 winner over the Tracy Bulldogs when they last played one another back in December of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. Sonora took a 55-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of Tracy on Saturday. Sonora has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Sonora's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Noah Wright, who scored 18 points. Wright scored a full 39.1% of Sonora's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Sarina, who scored 8 points along with 3 steals.
Sonora's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Tracy, the win got them back to even at 3-3.
Sonora's road trip will continue as they head out to face Beyer at 5:00 p.m. on December 5th. Beyer is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Tracy, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Millennium at 7:30 p.m. Millennium is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
