Pittsburg's loss on Saturday came despite strong showings from Jamar Searcy and Marley Alcantara. Searcy rushed for 159 yards while picking up 9.4 yards per carry, while Alcantara threw for 160 yards and two touchdowns. Searcy is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last three games he's played.
Even if they lost, Pittsburg's defense still kept up the pressure with five sacks. In that department, Jewelous Walls was the leader with two sacks.
Ryder Lyons continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Folsom, rushing for 122 yards and three touchdowns, while also throwing for 191 yards and a touchdown while completing 78.6% of his passes. Lyons set a new season high mark in carries with 27.
Pittsburg's defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 13-1. As for Folsom, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-2.
