Orr was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 13-4 to the Phoenix Military Firebirds. On the bright side, the four- run effort marked the Spartans' highest-scoring contest to date.

Orr's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Phoenix Military, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-6.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Orr will square off against rival North Grand at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Phoenix Military is set to take on their familiar foe Wells at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
