There's no place like home for the Twin Lakes Indians, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 75-72 victory over Logansport on Saturday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
It was another big night for Jamison Ousley, who scored 31 points along with five rebounds and four steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Twin Lakes' points. Avery Condo was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with six rebounds.
Logansport lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Chris anthony Delvalle, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds. Delvalle continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Taylor, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds.
Twin Lakes' win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-4. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.9 points per game. As for Logansport, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season.
Twin Lakes will head out on the road to challenge the Knights at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Logansport, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Raiders at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Harrison presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Berries in Indiana (the Raiders are ranked 97th, while the Berries are ranked 272nd).
