The Seven Rivers Christian Warriors will head out to challenge the Citrus Hurricanes at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Citrus took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Seven Rivers Christian, who comes in off a win.
On Tuesday, Seven Rivers Christian got the win against Hernando Christian Academy by a conclusive 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.
While Seven Rivers Christian won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-18, 26-24.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Seven Rivers Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Camila Venegas, who had 12 digs and ten aces. Venegas is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 14 or more in each of the last eight games she's played. Kloe Bonick was another key player, getting 12 digs.
They weren't the only good servers: Seven Rivers Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 17 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 11 aces in five consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Citrus came up short against Crystal River on Tuesday and fell 3-1. The Hurricanes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.
The final score came out to 25-20, 19-25, 25-16, 25-14.
Seven Rivers Christian's victory bumped their record up to 15-8. As for Citrus, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-20.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Thursday's match: Seven Rivers Christian hasn't let much over the net this season, having averaged 4 blocks per game. It's a different story for Citrus, though, as they've been averaging only 1.2 blocks. Given Seven Rivers Christian's sizable advantage in that area, the Hurricanes will need to find a way to close that gap.
Seven Rivers Christian was able to grind out a solid win over Citrus in their previous meeting back in September, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
