Chattanooga Central's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They never let the Tyner Academy Rams get on the board and left with a 12-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Pounders, who have now won six contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

Navaeh Frank was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. That's the first time she hasn't allowed a single hit since back in March of 2024. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in both of her plate appearances. Frank is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's snagged at least one every time she's taken the field this season.

In other batting news, Emma Lakin was a standout: she scored two runs while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Carli Morgan, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2.

Chattanooga Central's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Tyner Academy, with the loss, they broke their eight-game winning streak and moved their record to 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chattanooga Central will head out to challenge McMinn County at 5:30 p.m. on March 21st. As for Tyner Academy, they will square off against Bledsoe County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
