After a string of 12 wins, Brewer's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell to the Hartselle Tigers 47-41. The matchup marked the Patriots' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Despite the loss, Brewer still got an impressive performance from Austyn Holmes, who went 8 for 12 on his way to 20 points. That's the most points Holmes has posted since back in January. The team also got some help courtesy of Cam Ballinger, who posted six points and six rebounds.

Even though they lost, Brewer smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 13 consecutive games.

Brewer's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-2. As for Hartselle, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-6.

Brewer and Brooks will round out the year against one another at at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hartselle, they will square off against Nolensville at 7:30 p.m. on December 27th.
