Scarsdale has played every game this season on their home court, but they'll have to hit the road on Wednesday. They will challenge the Walter Panas Panthers at 4:30 p.m. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Scarsdale ultimately got the result they hoped for last Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Peekskill and snuck past 47-45.
Meanwhile, Walter Panas waltzed into their matchup on Monday with three straight wins but they left with four. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Arlington 68-40 on the road. Walter Panas has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 22 points or more this season.
Scarsdale now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Walter Panas, they pushed their record up to 12-2 with that win, which was their third straight on the road.
Scarsdale didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Walter Panas when the teams last played back in January of 2023, but they still walked away with a 38-34 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Scarsdale since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
