Despite the defeat, Galva saw an underclassman step up: Blake Stahl scored 14 points. The contest was Stahl's 11th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Braxton Rylander, who scored six points along with six assists.
Monmouth United's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-4. As for Galva, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.
