Football Recap: Mangum Skates Past Mooreland with Ease

Mangum got themselves on the board against Mooreland on Friday, but Mooreland never followed suit. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Bearcats 50-0. Fans of the Tigers have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Remington Laughlin had another great game (as he tends to do), throwing for 217 yards and four TDs while completing 87.5% of his passes, and also rushing for 41 yards and one score. Those four passing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Zeke Rogers was in the mix too, providing Mangum with two touchdowns.

Mangum didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Diego Telles. Another thorn in Mooreland's side was Krae Manney, who picked up a sack and made 12 total tackles (2.0 for loss).

The victory keeps Mangum at an undefeated 6-0. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 6.8 points on average this season. As for Mooreland, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.
