It was a good run, but the Anna Coyotes unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell to Celina 66-60. Anna was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bobcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.
Anna lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Brandon Webber, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Sean Steens, who scored eight points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Anna dropped their record down to 15-13 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Celina, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-11 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Anna will take on the Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Panther Creek focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Tuesday. As for Celina, they will be playing at home against the Chaparrals at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
