Sierra Pacific won the last time they faced Madera South and things went their way on Saturday too. The Golden Bears walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Stallions.

Madera South's loss came despite strong showings from Isabella Zaragosa and Liyah Chavira. Zaragosa had 11 kills, five digs, and three aces, while Chavira had four digs and two aces. Zaragosa is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had five or more in each of the last ten games she's played.

Sierra Pacific's win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Madera South, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-16.

Sierra Pacific wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Central on the 13th. As for Madera South, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Reedley on the 16th.
